A decade of experience with software development and data analysis

My time as an academic equipped me with the tools, knowledge, and experience to solve problems and collaborate effectively. I have been fortunate enough to travel across three continents to attend a variety of conferences, workshops, and summer schools. During these instances, I presented my research in both poster and presentation formats.

A deep interest in science
and storytelling

During my time at CSU and Duke, I wrote over 200 pages in combined thesis/dissertation content. While at Duke, I engaged in several opportunities to write about science, including peer-reviewed papers and articles for the general public. I also completed the SCOPE science communication course offered by Northwestern University.

Passionate about communicating data through visuals and text

My portfolio

My education and experience has equipped me with a broad skillset.

Experience with software development in C++ and Python, analysis over large data sets, and documentation of the work. For instance, see this GitHub repository I made as part of a peer-review paper I authored.

Passionate writer with both amateur expereince and professional training. Knowledge in technical writing, editing, peer review, documentation of research and software, and writing for general audience.

I have participated and organized various outreach efforts (educational or otherwise) by volunteering in my local community, working within the physics graduate student organization, and particpating through other community-led efforts.
