  • Work in two teams (documentation, engineering) with split responsibilities and a common goal of improving the standard of software documentation
  • In the Documentation team, collaborate with other technical authors on documentation practice work such as crafting guidelines for documentation, improving the internal reference library, and demonstrating the impact and value of design and user research performed by technical authors
  • In the Platform Engineering team, review and edit software documentation written by engineers so that the text adheres to the Canonical style guide and Diátaxis framework. Occassionally I also write documentation and have the engineers review the technical details
  • Work with other teams without a dedicated technical author (such as Information Systems) to offer feedback and guidance on their team's documentation
